I look forward to meeting with you!
Hi! I’m Jodi White and I’m an academic advisor and faculty in the Highline College Education Department. Fall quarter begins Monday, June 28 and is all online or virtual instruction - exciting stuff!
Highline College offers certificates AAS degrees, and a BAS in Teaching & Early Learning with and without teacher certification. Learn more on our [website] (https://www.highline.edu/bas/teaching/).
First, let’s match you to the correct advisor, based on your interest.
Who should you see for Academic Advising?
Any of us in the Education Department can help you with general information but we do have specialty areas.
Jodi White (me!)
Certificates and AAS in Early Childhood Education
BAS in Early Learning (no certification)
AAS in Paraeducation
BAS in Teaching that includes certification (Elementary School)
Certificates and AAS in ECE
If you already have an AA/S degree and are interested in the BAS that includes teaching certification for K-8, please make an appointment with Tanya Powers at https://tpowers.youcanbook.me.
If you can’t find a time to meet with one of the faculty advisors above, you can also get help through the Advising Transfer and Career Center.
What about money?
